Title: Samsung Powers the Modern Guest Experience at voco Times Square Publish Date: 5.6.2026 Category: Display Today marks the official launch of voco Hotel Times Square - Broadway, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, featuring over 400 Samsung Hospitality TVs to deliver a fully connected, technology-driven guest experience. One of the last new-build hotels approved in the landmark Times Square neighborhood, the 32-story hotel blends the energy of the city with a warm, inviting atmosphere inspired by Prohibition-era speakeasies. Rich textures, soft lighting and vintage-inspired design create an intimate, welcoming environment, while Samsung solutions across guest rooms and key touchpoints work seamlessly in the background to deliver a comfortable, convenient and personalized stay for every traveler. This installation reflects Samsung’s continued investment in hospitality innovation, enabling hotels to deliver smarter operations and more engaging guest experiences through a connected ecosystem of displays and scalable solutions. Samsung personalizes the guest experience At the core of the deployment are 436 Samsung Hospitality TVs (BU8000), transforming in-room entertainment into a premium, intuitive experience. With crisp 4K resolution, built-in streaming apps and seamless casting via Google Cast and Apple Airplay, the displays allow guests to instantly access their favorite content from personal devices without additional logins or hardware. Secure, private pairing and simplified connectivity remove friction from the experience, enabling a more customized and effortlessly connected stay. “Today’s leading hotel brands are focused on delivering experiences that feel both modern and deeply personalized, with technology playing a seamless role throughout the stay,” said Richard Leonarz, Director of Product Management, Hospitality Television at Samsung Electronics America. “At voco Times Square, our display solutions help bring that vision to life by transforming screens across the property—from in-room TVs to digital signage—into connected platforms for engagement and service, creating a more memorable stay.” Smarter, more efficient hotel operations Samsung’s presence extends beyond guest rooms, with digital innovations such as 32-inch Samsung Color E-Paper displays that enhance on-site communication. These ultra-low-power displays provide dynamic, easily updateable content while supporting the property’s sustainability and operational efficiency goals. Additional Samsung displays are also integrated throughout public spaces to create a cohesive and engaging environment from check-in to checkout. Together, Samsung’s integrated technology helps the hotel deliver a stay that is not only efficient and modern, but also comfortable, memorable and true to the voco brand. "Our in-room Samsung Smart TVs elevate our guest experience,” said Stephanie McCabe, Director of Sales and Marketing, voco Times Square – Broadway, by IHG. “From streaming and casting to watching favorite sports teams, these TVs deliver on high-quality for our guests. I also can't help but mention our Samsung TVs in our Suite Bathrooms. Now our guests can get ready in High Tech Style!" Samsung and voco Times Square will commemorate the collaboration with a grand opening celebration in May, bringing together local partners and community members.
