Launched in 2010, Samsung Solve for Tomorrow has evolved from an environmentally focused program to a dynamic initiative that challenges young minds to address some of the most pressing issues in their communities.

In that 11-year time span, the top social issues tackled by the participating students have changed – but none as drastically as the school year before and after the pandemic hit.

COVID-19 related matters, health and social justice now rank as today’s top teen issues to tackle, according to Solve for Tomorrow STEM-based project entries.
